What it does

sideBar’s Soul goes deeper than identity. Where identity shapes how sideBar speaks, the soul defines why it does what it does and how it grows with you over time. It captures sideBar’s long-term purpose for you specifically, the operating principles it follows, how it should adapt as it learns more about you, and the signals it uses to know it is doing its job well. As sideBar learns more about you through your conversations and the content you create, it updates its soul to stay aligned with who you are and what you need. Each update is versioned and timestamped.

When sideBar uses it

Always. sideBar’s Soul is active in every conversation, automatically. It works alongside sideBar’s Identity to give every interaction a consistent purpose and direction.
